TNO started this past Thursday, May 19th, as part of the DTOP business association’s mission to promote Oak Park businesses through a variety of fun and cultural events.
This is how the event works:
- Purchase $16 ticket booklets which contain 4 “dine-around” tickets at the Downtown Oak Park kiosk at Lake and Marion from 5 pm – 9 pm the night of the event.

Use your dine-around tickets at over 20 participating restaurants – 1 ticket is good for 1 item on the Thursday Night Out menu – and the menu’s change every month during the event. So one week have an appetizer at the Sushi House , an entree at Munch and a dessert at Mancini’s then the next Thursday mix it up and try something new! the combinations are endless and the menus change every month during the TNO summer season.
Along with good food, drinks and desserts at a discount there are also a variety of weekly featured performers that will sing, dance and entertain the masses on Marion Street.
As a bonus, if you buy two booklets at a time you receive a $5 DTOP gift certificate good at over 25 participating stores on Thursday evenings during the TNO season – so do a little shopping while your at it!
